Interdenominational Evangelical Churches (I.E.C.)

Over sixteen (16) years ago, in the midst of ministry, Pastor Claude E. Tears spoke to a group of Pastors, Ministers and Church members, in Chicago, IL. As he spoke he declared that these meeting together had the "uncommon-common" ground of being "interdenominational evangelical churches". With those words spoken, in the midst of the anointing, the fellowship ... Interdenominational Evangelical Churches (I.E.C.) was born!

Quite honestly, there have been many ups and downs on this journey, but one thing has remained the same ... The Vision!

Bishop Tears and the IEC vision is to keep all the member Pastors, Ministers and Churches lifted up, to assist everyone to be what the Lord has called them to be! This is the work and ministry of IEC.

We invite you to join with us in helping to equip each other in holding up each others arms to see the Lord move in our cities. This fellowship does not govern or rule over your ministry. IEC stands ready to assist you in what the Lord has called you to do. We believe in working to assist you in inheriting the "promised land" that the Lord is giving you (Joshua 1: 12-15).
